Soups are a staple dish in my household, especially during this time of year when people are much more likely to catch a cold or the flu. A piping hot bowl of hearty soup, like classic chicken noodle, is a great, gentle meal that will keep you warm, hydrated, and provide important nutrients that your body needs to stay healthy.
Try making a large pot of your favorite soup for dinner and serving it along with a crusty piece of bread for dipping. It's the perfect cozy meal, and an excellent meal-prepping opportunity, as you can always double the recipe and save the rest for later. I've included some of my go-to soups below that are family-friendly, filling, and immune-boosting.
Beef Noodle Soup
For a slight twist on chicken noodle soup, try this beef version. It's the perfect easy and hearty meal to warm you up!
Hot and Sour Soup is one of my all-time favorite Chinese food recipes, made with pork and tofu in a savory broth that's a little bit hot, a little bit sour, and full of flavor!
