And finally, chicken rice. I was surprised that we didn't go for chicken rice often in Singapore and KL and on the final night in Penang, we finally got some from a night market stall. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but wow, this must have been one of the best (Hainanese-style) chicken I'd had anywhere! Once again, the portion was quite small, but the meat was so tender and soft with such strong aromatic flavours of garlic complementing the smooth skin. I'm in love with this, or should I say with food in Penang in general. Let me go back!!!
