Do you consider a bar a cookie? Someone recently told me no, bars are not cookies. Hmm. I think they are! I know the sundae above is not a bar or a cookie per se, but it is one of the best desserts because it tastes so good, and is very easy to serve with the bars made in advance.

Here are my 5 Favorite Bar Recipes to make this weekend:

Blondies. These bars are ultra chewy! They include tahini and orange blossom water (both on sale right now with code LABORDAY25). Serve them with Caramel Sauce.

Olive Oil Brownies. OMGosh fudgy! Deep and dark and very, very moist.

Pumpkin Bars. Who said it isn't time for pumpkin? I probably did. But these are GREAT with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Pecan Bars. Taste of pie, with much ease!

Jam Bars. Streusel topping. Use your favorite jam.
