Again a non-Malaysian street food item in Penang - I believe the beef brisket soup noodles are more of a Chinese concoction. I actually loved these as a child but nowadays beef brisket tends to be too dry or too hard. This one hit the spot and reminded me of the taste of childhood - rich soup, al dente noodles, and most importantly tender and flavourful beef brisket!
