Hello joe,
This month, we dive into the future of farming. From regenerative approaches and digitalisation to fresh insights into agricultural careers, there’s plenty on the horizon for the industry to embrace that champions holistic and resilient farming practices.
This edition also spotlights how to inspire a new generation of farmers, through a new report from the EIT Food Consumer Observatory. Professor Klaus Grunert and Director of Public Insights and Engagement Sofia Kuhn spoke to Impakter about young people’s perceptions of farming as a career and what can be done to safeguard the future of the profession.
No animal was slaughtered to produce it. No fields were cleared for grazing. Cultured meat is here, but there’s still a way to go before consumers are fully ready to trust it.
The number of farmers in Europe is declining. Professor Klaus Grunert and Sofia Kuhn from EIT Food shared their insights with Impakter on what’s needed to reverse this trend.
