A Saturday night shooting at Kate Campbell Park in Jackson left seven people injured, including juveniles, according to police.

The violence broke out around 8:41 p.m., northeast of downtown, leaving one victim in critical condition and two others hospitalized.

No arrests have been made, and investigators are still working the scene, urging witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward. The motive remains unclear.
