2 exciting things: New Sichuan recipe + Mum Cha reader event!


Hello everyone - I arrive today with 2 exciting things to share! Firstly, a very special intimate reader lunch that we are hosting with Plate It Forward, a not-for profit hospitality group here in Sydney. The lunch will be held on Saturday 28 June at Kyiv Social, one of their social enterprise restaurants where profits are used to donate meals to people in need here in Sydney and in Ukraine, as well as providing employment for newly arrived Ukrainian war refugees.

JB will be leading the charge in the kitchen, my mother will be there to regale you with (embarrassing!) tales of my childhood, and creaky-old-man-bones permitting, Dozer will be there too!

Tickets go on sale this Thursday 29 May 2025 at 4pm AEST (ie Sydney time). Get the tickets here.

Secondly - today's recipe is extra special! Another on cracked by Chef Hannah - the iconic Sichuan Eggplant and Pork. Lovers of Sichuan food, be prepared to swoon, this is EPIC! - Nagi x
