Florida will hold a special election today to replace former GOP Reps. Matt Gaetz and Mike Waltz in two closely watched contests widely viewed as a test of President Trump's agenda.

In the 6th Congressional District, which covers Daytona Beach and stretches into central Florida, Republican state Sen. Randy Fine is competing against Democrat Josh Weil to fill the seat vacated by Waltz when he was appointed as Trump's national security advisor.

Trump has endorsed Fine and called into two tele-town halls for him. Weil is a public schoolteacher and has received an endorsement from Sen. Bernie Sanders.

In the Panhandle's 1st Congressional District, Florida's Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis squares off against Democrat Gay Valimont. The winner will fill Gaetz's seat, who resigned when he was Trump's initial pick for attorney general.

A recent poll suggests a tightening race in Florida's 6th Congressional District, with Weil trailing Fine by only 4%. Early voting data reveals higher Democratic turnout, indicating increased enthusiasm. However, Republican support remains solid.

More than 200,000 pounds of liquid egg products are being recalled nationwide because they may contain a cleaning solution with a chemical commonly used for bleaching. The recall includes Florida food service distributors.

The recall comes from Cargill Kitchen Solutions, which sells the eggs in 32-oz. cartons under the labels Egg Beaters and Bob Evans.

The Class III recall is the lowest risk classification, and there have not been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

A proposed law under consideration this week would allow Floridians' vehicles to be impounded for 30 days if they are caught speeding more than 50 miles per hour over the legal limit or passing another vehicle while traveling over 100 miles per hour.

The first offense could carry a fine of at least $1,000 and revocation of the driver's license for six months. Under existing law, the driver could also be imprisoned for up to 90 days.

The second offense could result in a fine of at least $2,500, prison time of up to six months, or both. The driver's license would also be revoked for one year.

Fake News vs. Reality: The Truth Behind the Tariffs

The media is focused on market chaos instead of the golden opportunity ahead. They claim the recent policies are reckless—that they'll tank the economy.

But here's what they won't tell you…

The current administration's tariffs aren't causing instability—they're exposing it.

Wall Street's so-called "strength" has been built on cheap money and overvalued stocks.

The recent AI stock crash, which erased $589 billion in a single day, proves how fragile this market really is.

Now, bold actions are being taken to restore America's economic independence, even if it means short-term backlash.

Wall Street doesn't like it. The media won't admit it. But the real danger isn't the policies themselves—it's the shaky foundation they're exposing.

It's no question that traditional retirement accounts are at risk. Market volatility could continue for months, and the wealth Americans have worked for could be wiped out overnight.

Luckily, a little-known IRS loophole remains open, designed to safeguard your savings and protect your wealth from the chaos in the markets.

America's wealthiest citizens have used this loophole for years. They aren't waiting for the next crash—they're preparing now.

We've detailed the wealth-saving, whispered secret of the financial elite and how hard-working Americans can use the same tactics to protect their retirement wealth.
