Article Icon 1New Law Would Stop Speeders

A proposed law would require repeat speeders to install a GPS-enabled device—called an intelligent speed limiter—in their cars. The device tracks a car's location and prevents it from exceeding the speed limit.

Del. Patrick Hope, who introduced the bill, said the device will save lives by making it "nearly impossible to speed."

The law would provide judges with an alternative to suspending the offender's driver's license or sentencing them to jail.

If enacted, Virginia would be the first state in the U.S. to implement the option, though Washington state has a similar bill under consideration.

Article Icon 1Community Supports Sheriffs after Shooting

The community has rallied around the Carroll County Sheriff's Office after two deputies were shot in a confrontation at a truck stop on Friday. The deputies are in stable condition.

The suspect, Edwin Johnson, 29, was killed after exchanging fire with the deputies at a Love's Truck Stop off I-77 in the Lambsburg area.

Johnson was a suspect in a shooting earlier in the day on I-85 that involved the drivers of two tractor-trailers. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff's office released a statement thanking the community for their "overwhelming love and support" as their officers "put on a badge every day and place their lives on the line."

Spring cleanups are underway in southwest and central Virginia to help keep roads, trails, and rivers clean.

In Blacksburg, thousands of Virginia Tech students and staff are set to complete community service projects during "The Big Event," as a way of saying thank you to the community.

Pittsylvania County will hold its Semi-Annual Litter Clean-Up on April 21-26 in conjunction with Earth Day. Residents are encouraged to clean up the road of their choice.

Projects statewide can be reported to Keep Virginia Beautiful, and residents are encouraged to help remove litter and invasive plants or to plant trees.

Fake News vs. Reality: The Truth Behind the Tariffs

The media is focused on market chaos instead of the golden opportunity ahead. They claim the recent policies are reckless—that they'll tank the economy.

But here's what they won't tell you…

The current administration's tariffs aren't causing instability—they're exposing it.

Wall Street's so-called "strength" has been built on cheap money and overvalued stocks.

The recent AI stock crash, which erased $589 billion in a single day, proves how fragile this market really is.

Now, bold actions are being taken to restore America's economic independence, even if it means short-term backlash.

Wall Street doesn't like it. The media won't admit it. But the real danger isn't the policies themselves—it's the shaky foundation they're exposing.

It's no question that traditional retirement accounts are at risk. Market volatility could continue for months, and the wealth Americans have worked for could be wiped out overnight.

Luckily, a little-known IRS loophole remains open, designed to safeguard your savings and protect your wealth from the chaos in the markets.

America's wealthiest citizens have used this loophole for years. They aren't waiting for the next crash—they're preparing now.

We've detailed the wealth-saving, whispered secret of the financial elite and how hard-working Americans can use the same tactics to protect their retirement wealth.
