 | Tuesday, April 1, 2025 | | Good Morning! On this day in 1898, journalist William Cowper Brann was gunned down in Waco. The publisher of the controversial Iconoclast magazine, Brann routinely railed against Baptists, Episcopalians, blacks, women, and Baylor University. As you're probably aware, today is April Fool's Day. This East Texas man got a head start when he called 911 for help after a botched burglary last week. The facilities, formerly operated by Silver Leaf Assisted Living, were transferred to Evergreen Assisted Care following the foreclosure of the properties. However, Silver Leaf did not sign over the licenses for the affected locations, prompting state officials to order their closure. "This is jeopardizing the most vulnerable population, aside from children, that could possibly be put in this position," a representative for Evergreen said. "I have grave concerns with the way this is being executed, for their safety." Since the initial notice, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission clarified that families have up to 10 days to find new homes for their loved ones. | Thief Calls 911 After Botched Burglary An East Texas man tried to steal a car from a dealership but ended up calling 911 for help after getting injured during the break-in. Jeremiah Megallon, 38, allegedly told the operator he threw a rock through a window of the Patterson Dodge dealership in Tyler and cut himself when he crawled through it. He called 911 around 3:45 a.m. Thursday, when he believed he was stuck inside the building. When police arrived, Megallon was transported to a hospital to get treated for his injuries and then booked into the Smith County Jail. According to a police spokesperson, the suspect could have used several unlocked doors to escape. "Truth is stranger than fiction," he said. A staff member for the dealership said the only thing Megallon managed to steal was candy from a salesperson's desk. | | Flying together with our sponsor Fake News vs. Reality: The Truth Behind the Tariffs The media is focused on market chaos instead of the golden opportunity ahead. They claim the recent policies are reckless—that they'll tank the economy. But here's what they won't tell you… The current administration's tariffs aren't causing instability—they're exposing it. Wall Street's so-called "strength" has been built on cheap money and overvalued stocks. The recent AI stock crash, which erased $589 billion in a single day, proves how fragile this market really is. Now, bold actions are being taken to restore America's economic independence, even if it means short-term backlash. Wall Street doesn't like it. The media won't admit it. But the real danger isn't the policies themselves—it's the shaky foundation they're exposing. It's no question that traditional retirement accounts are at risk. Market volatility could continue for months, and the wealth Americans have worked for could be wiped out overnight. Luckily, a little-known IRS loophole remains open, designed to safeguard your savings and protect your wealth from the chaos in the markets. America's wealthiest citizens have used this loophole for years. They aren't waiting for the next crash—they're preparing now. We've detailed the wealth-saving, whispered secret of the financial elite and how hard-working Americans can use the same tactics to protect their retirement wealth. >>Get Your Free WEALTH PROTECTION GUIDE<< | | | ➤ Gov.
