Article Icon 1 Trump Takes Narrow Lead in Latest Polling

Polling data shows Donald Trump holding a narrow lead over Kamala Harris in Georgia, a crucial battleground state.

In the Cooperative Election Study, Trump holds a 51%-46% lead over Harris, while an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll reports a 47%-43% advantage for Trump. The Marist poll shows a tighter race with the candidates tied at 49%.

Trump’s steady support in the state shows his sustained appeal among core Republican constituencies. Harris’s campaign has faced challenges in securing the same level of support among Black voters that Biden achieved in 2020.

Georgia and Florida will face off at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville tomorrow, Nov. 2, at 3:30 pm ET. Georgia is at 6-1 and Florida's record stands at 4-3.

The Bulldogs, who are chasing No. 10 Texas A&M for the league lead, have reeled off three straight victories, including a 30-15 win over then-No. 1 Texas.

Both teams are coming off an open date. The Gators have rebounded from a 1-2 start, but Georgia has won the last three meetings between the two teams by an average of 24 points and are favored to win this game as well.

Article Icon 1 'Fall Back': Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday

Daylight saving time (DST) ends on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 2 a.m., meaning clocks will "fall back" by one hour, giving people an extra hour of sleep.

Although many welcome the additional hour, the time shift can interfere with our internal clocks, which regulate sleep, mood, and even blood pressure, especially as the days get shorter and evenings darker.

Preparing for the adjustment by gradually altering sleep schedules and getting more sunlight exposure can help the body adapt smoothly to the change.
