Donald Trump won the White House for a second time last night, taking North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin, and leading in the other swing states as of 2 a.m. ET.

In North Carolina, a key swing state, Trump won with 50.9% of the vote to Vice President Kamala Harris’ 47.8%

Nationally, Trump also appeared to win the popular vote. At 2 a.m. he had 66.5 million votes to Harris’ 61.6 million. In his first election, Trump won the electoral college but lost the popular vote.

Harris campaign officials said she would make no statement Tuesday night as her supporters began leaving her watch party at Howard University.

Article Icon 1Stein Wins Gubernatorial Race

Attorney General Josh Stein (D) will become North Carolina’s next governor after soundly defeating Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) 54.8% to 40.2%. Independent candidate Mike Ross won around 3% of the vote.

Stein, an Ivy League-educated lawyer and son of a prominent civil rights attorney, grew up in Chapel Hill and presents a stark contrast to current Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper, who grew up on a Nash County tobacco farm.

In a nailbiter attorney general race, Democrat Jeff Jackson had a 51.4% to 48.6% lead over Republican opponent Dan Bishop with 95% of the vote in as of 2 a.m. Tuesday.

The race for lieutenant governor was equally close. Democrat Rachel Hunt led Republican Hal Weatherman 49.5% to 47.7% with 95% of the vote in.

A closer-than-expected North Carolina superintendent race came down to 2 points as of midnight Tuesday, with Democratic candidate Maurice (Mo) Green, a former Guilford County Schools superintendent, defeating Republican candidate Michelle Morrow, a nurse and homeschool teacher, 51% to 49%.

Contrastingly, an amendment to North Carolina’s state constitution requiring all eligible voters to be U.S. citizens was overwhelmingly approved, with 73.4% for and 26.6% against.

One of the top nutrition researchers in the world has just reported a surprising discovery. And it may prove life-changing for middle-aged and older Americans.

According to Dr. Gundry's research, there's one "anti-nutrient" that's become widespread in American food. And this unhealthy compound — rather than just "age" — is often behind the digestive, energy, and weight problems people are having.
