Election Day has arrived. North Carolina polling stations are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Any voter in line at their assigned polling place with a valid ID by 7:30 p.m. will still be able to vote.

You can find your voting location, view a sample ballot, and check your registration status here. If you've already voted, you'll also be able to find out if your ballot was accepted.

North Carolina uses paper ballots, marked either by hand or with a ballot-marking device. Here are some tips to make sure you fill yours out properly.

Voters may notice new General Assembly districts on this year's ballot. That's because they were adjusted in 2021 to reflect U.S. Census data changes.

Here are a few state races to keep an eye on. Most analysts expect North Carolina results to be reported soon after the polls close.

FEMA officials report that 122,000 western North Carolina households have been approved for $203 million in disaster assistance aid. Recipients include renters and homeowners.

The agency has also provided hotels for around 3,900 families in the area.

FEMA is still managing 21 disaster recovery centers that are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. FEMA's online information center provides center locations and a list of emergency response resources.

Searches continue for missing residents. The N.C. Department of Health and Human Services has verified 101 storm-related deaths in North Carolina at this time.

The N.C. Department of Commerce says the state's film industry has produced $172 million in revenue thanks to a state incentive program that distributes grants to qualifying projects.

North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grants have been approved for three television-streaming series and three independent feature-length productions.

Wilmington-based productions include The Runarounds (approved for up to $14 million), The Waterfront (approved for a rebate of up to $15 million), and Capsized (approved for $2.25 million).

Charlotte-based productions include season 2 of Blue Ridge (approved for $2.37 million), Roofman ($4.8 million), and Apopka ($4.6 million). The latter two are currently casting extras.

Additional grant recipients include The Summer I Turned Pretty, Merv, The Hunting Wifes, The Shot, The Gardener, and The Double.

Invest Before Their Planned Nasdaq Listing: All-Natural Pesticides

Pesticides are supposed to protect your food from bugs. But they're not supposed to poison you in the process. That's why Med-X created a pesticide using only essential oils from clove, cottonseed, cedar, and cinnamon.

And you now have an opportunity to invest as they plan their way to the Nasdaq.

Not only are their products chemical-free, but in some cases they've proven more effective than traditional pesticides. So effective, in fact, they've already landed e-commerce partnerships with companies like:

  • Walmart

  • Amazon

  • Kroger

  • And more

As a result, they've seen 200% sales growth in the last five years.

Following rapid success in the U.S., Med-X is now on the path to scaling into 41 new global markets including Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Africa. And since the $17B global pesticides market is projected to 3X in size by the end of the decade, there's no better time to join them as an investor.

See how you can become an early Med-X shareholder before their planned listing under 'MXRX'.
