Article Icon 1Bastrop County Fire Burns 400 Acres

A structure fire in Bastrop County sparked a 400-acre wildfire on Sunday, prompting authorities to evacuate roughly 65 homes.

The Hudson Fire, located eight miles east of Bastrop city limits, was about 30% contained by Monday morning. Local firefighters were assisted by state emergency response teams, including over 90 personnel and over 60 assets providing air and ground support.

Officials said that containment lines constructed by bulldozers appear to have stopped the fire from spreading.

Bastrop County has a history of devastating wildfires. In October 2015, the Hidden Pines Fire destroyed over 4,500 acres and 60 homes, while the Bastrop Complex Fire in September 2011 consumed more than 32,000 acres and 1,600 homes.

Article Icon 1Cruz, Allred Make Final Appeal To Voters

While former President Donald Trump is expected to win Texas fairly easily, polls show the race between Sen. Ted Cruz and his Democratic challenger, Rep. Colin Allred, is closer. Cruz leads by 4% in an aggregate of recent surveys.

Cruz visited the border cities of El Paso and McAllen in the final days of the campaign, focusing on immigration and border security and portraying Allred as out of touch with Texans on issues like abortion and transgender rights.

Over the last two elections, GOP candidates have made historic gains among Latino voters around the state, especially in South Texas.

Meanwhile, Allred held a rally in Dallas, emphasizing his support for Social Security and Medicare while accusing his opponent of being a self-centered lawmaker who puts his personal ambitions ahead of his constituents.

Invest Before Their Planned Nasdaq Listing: All-Natural Pesticides

Pesticides are supposed to protect your food from bugs. But they're not supposed to poison you in the process. That's why Med-X created a pesticide using only essential oils from clove, cottonseed, cedar, and cinnamon.

And you now have an opportunity to invest as they plan their way to the Nasdaq.

Not only are their products chemical-free, in some cases they've proven more effective than traditional pesticides. So effective, in fact, they've already landed e-commerce partnerships with companies like:

  • Walmart

  • Amazon

  • Kroger

  • And more

As a result, they've seen 200% sales growth in the last five years.

Following rapid success in the US, Med-X is now on the path to scaling into 41 new global markets including Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Africa. And since the $17B global pesticides market is projected to 3X in size by the end of the decade, there's no better time to join them as an investor.

See how you can become an early Med-X shareholder before their planned listing under 'MXRX'.
