Announcing a Call for Presentations
Maine Innovation Summit, May 19 and 20, 2025
Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland, Maine
The State of Maine, Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Aging and Disability Services is organizing an Innovation Summit in 2025.
This state and national-level conference will provide a chance to showcase innovations in delivery of services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or autism, an acquired brain injury, and conditions such as cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, or other similar conditions. The Innovation Summit will also feature:
- Keynote addresses from Stacy DiStefano, CEO of Consulting for Human Services and Hope Dittmeier, Executive Director of Mattingly Edge
- A Tech Expo with vendor exhibits assistive technology demos where people can try out new equipment, and networking opportunities throughout the day
The Innovation Summit is now accepting proposals for presentations of innovative content for panels and breakout sessions. Interested parties should submit their proposals via the form at https://www.innovationsummitme.com/speak by November 8th, 2024.

Projected Timeline
If you have submitted a speaking proposal, you can expect to receive feedback in November. Here's the projected timeline:
- Submission deadline: October 31, 2024
- Abstracts reviewed by subject matter experts: November 2024
- Notifications sent to speakers/submitters: November 2024
- Registration opens: mid-January 2025
