This year, five American Indian high school juniors will be selected to join the Boston Marathon Pursuit program through Wings of America, a nonprofit that works to build healthy Native communities using youth running initiatives. Wings has been granted two Boston Marathon charity bibs to raise funds for a four-day itinerary, including college and museum visits, workshops on the realities of continuing their education, group runs, the Boston Athletic Association 5K, and marathon viewing on Patriot's Day Monday.
