COVID-19 vaccine reminders

Find COVID-19 vaccine locations

To have the best protection against COVID-19, you should make sure you are up to date on your COVID-19 vaccines. You are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines when you have received all doses in the primary series and received the most recent booster dose recommended for you, when eligible. COVID-19 vaccines are free.

When it comes to getting vaccinated, simplify your search with the Find COVID-19 Vaccine Locations tool – all you need is a zip code. The tool can even help you find locations that offer specific accommodations like language services. Check it out today and find your perfect spot to get the shot!

In-home COVID-19 vaccination is available upon request for those who may have difficulties going to a clinic or other vaccine location. Learn more about eligibility for an in-home vaccine and how to request an appointment at In-Home Vaccination Program.

COVID-19 vaccine and pregnancy

Pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant? Make a COVID-19 vaccine or booster part of your planning! The changes that happen to your body during pregnancy could make you more likely to get very sick from COVID-19. Because COVID-19 during pregnancy increases the risk of an early delivery, getting a COVID-19 vaccine can also help protect your baby from serious health problems related to a premature birth. Talk to your doctor about getting a COVID-19 vaccine and other steps you can take to help you and your baby stay safe!

COVID-19 self-tests

Minnesota residents have many COVID-19 testing options. One option is COVID-19 Self-testing, which may also be called an at-home test, direct-to-consumer (DTC) test, or over-the-counter (OTC) test.

You can do a self-test anywhere, such as at home. Results are ready fast, often within 15 minutes. Vaccination status does not affect test results. If your test is positive, you should follow current recommendations for how long to stay home and when to wear a mask. Learn more at If You Are Sick or Test Positive.

Ready. Ask your health insurance provider how you can get COVID-19 self-tests at no cost. Free tests are also available through the State of Minnesota at Order your free at-home rapid tests and USPS at COVID.gov/tests.

Set. Know where your self-tests are at home and check the expiration dates.

TEST! Use your self-tests when you need them. Follow the instructions that come with the test kit. For a quick one-page guide on when to test, visit COVID-19 Testing Recommendations (PDF).

Note: In some cases, the expiration date for a test may be extended if the manufacturer provided data showing that the shelf-life is longer than was known when the test was first authorized. Check if your COVID-19 tests' expiration dates have been extended at FDA: List of Authorized At-Home OTC COVID-19 Diagnostic Tests.

Ready. Set. Test!
