3 Fermented Drinks (that are easier than kombucha) ❤️

Happy Saturday!

I know that everyone's heard of kombucha, right? That sweet-sour fermented tea.

It's good for your gut, and loaded with beneficial bacteria. BUT,  there's a whole lot more out there (and they're easier to make) than kombucha.

Here's where to start:
  • Ginger Bug is a bug is a starter for fermented drinks, and you mix a bit of chopped ginger with sugar and water until it gets bubbly, then strain and mix with your favorite herbal infusion or fruit juice.
  • Fruit Kvass is a type of probiotic drink made by fermenting fruit (berries work great!) in water touched with a teeny bit of honey.  It tastes sweet and tart with a pleasant fizziness.
  • Tepache is a fermented pineapple drink from Mexico.  It has a pleasant flavor, distinct sweetness and plenty of bubbles. And it's SO easy to make.
