It's almost Friday, so I'm going to throw a quick little pizza recipe at ya! BBQ Chicken Pizza is such a classic with its sweet, tangy, and salty BBQ sauce, bits of juicy chicken, creamy cheese, and savory onions. But, after making pizzas for a living for a couple of years, I learned that there are a so many other fun things you can throw on top of a BBQ Chicken Pizza! So keep reading to grab the "classic" recipe below, plus some of my other "fun" toppings that go really well with these BBQ flavors.
It's FRIDAY! And Fridays call for pizza. I haven't had pizza in forever and I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to chew pizza with my new braces, but let's be real, even a mouth full of wire and tender teeth can't keep me from pizza. I was craving a white pizza this week, similar to one that I had at one of my favorite pizza places in New Orleans (Pizza Delicious, if you're wondering), so I whipped up this super simple Garlicky Kale and Ricotta Pizza.
Here's a little tasty treat that I've been making for myself lately, super easy Caprese Pizza! They're quick, light, and fresh, which is a nice change of pace sometimes in the middle of all of fall and winter. Plus, they just kind of feel extra special on a weeknight or night spent at home. So the next time you have a pizza and movie night, try making these cute little Caprese Pizzas. The night will feel extra special without a ton of extra work!
Fast French bread pizzas are a classic Budget Byte because they are super fast, ridiculously easy, customizable, and inexpensive! But one of my favorite reasons for making French Bread Pizza is because it's a great way to use up the leftovers in your fridge. You can top pizzas with just about anything, so dive into your refrigerator and find some creative pizza toppings! I'll post some of my favorite pizza toppings below. :)
Summer calls for a lighter, fresher, more vibrant pizza. Earlier this week I splurged on some fresh mozzarella for my Kale Pesto Pasta and I wanted to make sure the rest of that delicious cheese didn't go to waste. My first thought was Margherita pizza, but then I decided to do a little something different. Instead of topping this simple white pizza with thin ribbons of fresh basil, I made a small batch of zesty parsley pesto and drizzled it over top after cooking. OMMMGGGG. Best thing ever.
