Newly Refreshed: State Facts for Students Tool

State Facts for Students Map

Our fan-favorite data access tool, State Facts for Students, has gotten a refresh! We added additional facts and functionality, updated the U.S. map to show geographical regions, and included a more interactive experience to peak students' interest. There are now two ways to view the information—with a visualization of interesting facts along a colorful road or with the familiar table view.

With this tool, students can discover information about their state's population, geography, businesses, and history. They will be able to examine and compare data about children their own age and other fun facts such as the number of ice cream makers or amusement parks in different states. In addition, this cool data can be easily downloaded in image, PDF, and PowerPoint formats to use in reports or class projects.
