Knowing what does and doesn't count as 'working time' can be complex when it comes to paying the National Minimum Wage correctly.
Misunderstanding of what counts as working time as part of pay calculations is a common cause of underpayment – even amongst employers who think they are paying minimum wage rates, or above.
