🍝 The lightened-up Italian classics I can’t live without

Reset & Flourish Hey reader, Here's something you might not know about me: I come from a big Italian-American family… so food? Yeah, kind of a thing. Sunday sauce, pasta every which way, cheese on everything - it's how I grew up. So when I started making changes to eat healthier and lose weight, one of my biggest goals was this: 👉 *I still wanted to enjoy the food I actually love. Especially the Italian comfort food I grew up with. What I didn't want was to give up eggplant parm or fettuccine alfredo just to eat dry grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. No thanks. So instead, I started lightening up my favorites. Adding more protein. And watching my portions. Not by making them sad and flavorless - just tweaking things here and there so they still taste amazing but feel way better in my body. And honestly? No one notices a difference. Not even my Italian mom.
