| Hello friends, and welcome to my "What I've been loving" series! The truth is, I started The Almond Eater over 10 years ago, and since then, blogging has changed a lot. I miss writing, and I miss sharing my life with you all. I'm planning to share these emails once a month, so you'll get a glimpse into my life and a few items I've purchased and enjoyed. If you don't care about my life (no offense taken), just don't open the email. You'll still get plenty of tasty food recipes sent to you! LIFE THIS MONTH - The month started with my best friend, her husband and their daughter coming to visit us! It was absolutely freezing that weekend, but we still had a great time and it's always fun getting to see your kid play with your friends' kids.
- I've officially watched the Super Bowl halftime show probably 15 times?! Miguel loves Bad Bunny and so naturally so does Emmy, so after it aired, she requested to watch it every morning for over a week straight.
- We had friends over for breakfast one weekend -- not brunch, but breakfast, because life with kids means everyone is up early! It was great though and a nice way to spend the morning.
- We went to Columbus to visit my brother this past weekend and it was great! Bonus points for it being nearly 60 degrees too.
- Speaking of, we've been getting ice cream a lot lately -- it's one of those foods that, regardless of the weather, I'm always craving.
THINGS I LOVED THIS MONTH - Brown sugar bear: Don't let your brown sugar clump up ever again! This brown sugar bear is a lifesaver and it's only $5! *Immediately purchase*
- Bath bombs (without toys): I've shared bath bombs before, but I think I like these ones even more because they don't have any toys in the middle of them. A lot of bath bombs for kids contain surprise toys, which is cute, except if your kid still sometimes puts things in their mouth it can be a hassle. These are just easier and they smell great too.
- Ruggable runner: I bought my first Ruggable rug a few years ago, and I just purchased a second one for our downstairs hallway and I love it so much. They wash really well are are super soft too.
- Target dress: I saw this dress and knew I immediately wanted it. It screams "spring" and it's really comfortable. Now all I need is warmer weather so I can actually wear it :)
- Old Navy fleece: Love this so much I ended up buying two of them! They're incredibly soft, and honestly remind me of the texture of a Lululemon sweatshirt, but more affordable.
That's it! Thanks for the support and happy February! -Erin |
