I had high expectations for this meal as it was a new place specialising in Japanese-style rice dishes, and the original chain was quite good. However, this meal was overall a vast disappointment. First, it took more than half an hour for the order to be served - I was pretty sure they forgot my order and I had to remind the server after running out of patience. Second, the side dish was not "tempura" as stated on the menu...crispy veggie pancake, yes, but not tempura. Finally, the main ox tongue dish was quite...bad. The food was cold, the sauce was too thick, and the ox tongue didn't have the unique texture that I liked. All in all a bad experience and I'm glad they switched back to doing what they were good at...NOT rice dishes apparently!
