I’ll be taking a break for a few weeks. I’ve been working steadily on book projects, testing recipes, writing, and powering through l’administration (paperwork). Because we didn’t take a Christmas break, as is the ritual here, we’re taking it now, in search of some sunshine.
Also, my internet is in need of repair and the technician who was supposed to come last week was a no-show. Five days later, the company contacted me with the next available appointment…which is now scheduled for the middle of February. If you ever wonder why France has a reputation for being resistant to change, try changing something with your internet provider, even if it’s just a modem here. While I’m all for preserving traditions, so far it’s been quite the odyssey...
