It feels like we spend more time searching for a good movie to watch than actually watching...but I have no problem lining up the treats for while we watch (or search, as the case may be!). One all-time favorite for this holiday week and NYE: Homemade Caramel Corn. This one is both recipe and story (and how-to video!), because it's so nostalgic for me. I reconnected with the recipe when I found the original hand-written recipe atop a stack, back during my first winter of food blogging from Up North in Michigan.
Pop the corn. Make the caramel sauce. Coat, bake, break in pieces. Add a splash of orange blossom water if you have that on hand, so wonderful paired with caramel. Find a good movie (0r not), and crunch away!
