Hope you are enjoying a good balance of feasting-hubbub and quiet-peaceful moments this week. For New Year's Eve, over the years I've enjoyed everything from warehouse-district styling par-tay in Chicago to home sick on the couch with a box of tissues (and chocolates). My favorite is somewhere in between, but mostly a tranquil experience with some good food and my people. Like many of us, I also am ready for some down time; a minute or several to think on the past year and what's ahead. I've already resolved that 2025 will include trying new things that unleash creativity.
Scroll down for a fun array of recipes I've assembled for delicious bites to consider for New Year's Eve/Day, a mix of decadent (Baked Brie! Spanakopita!) and light 'n easy (Tabbouleh Cups! Roasted Garlic!). Plus a sweet bite, of course....
Also, we're happy to share the big end of year sale with 25% off your entire order. Shop with code SAVE24.
Bless your hands,
Baked Brie.
A dollop of jam rests just under the pastry. Buy puff pastry (Dufour is excellent, made with butter) and a wheel of brie this decadent treat.
These are so neat! Use romaine gem or butter lettuce (even endive), and fill with tabbouleh, finger food Add some avocado to the tabbouleh for even more richness.
