The bill provides $100 billion in disaster aid and $10 billion in agricultural assistance to farmers. Early Saturday morning, the Senate overwhelmingly approved the bill by a margin of 85-11, with most Democrats and Republicans supporting the measure. The House approved the bill overwhelmingly, 366-34. The Senate also approved the Social Security Fairness Act on Saturday, eliminating two federal policies that prevented nearly 3 million Americans, including police officers, firefighters, postal workers, teachers, and others with a public pension, from collecting their full Social Security benefits. | College Football Playoff Kicks Off Home teams dominated the first round of the College Football Playoff this weekend.
