Good morning! President-elect Donald Trump won his bid for the White House last night in convincing fashion, sweeping up four battleground states and ending the night with leads in three more.

We weren't sure we'd have election results by today, but Trump's electoral win became clear late last night, and he gave his victory speech after 2:30 a.m. in West Palm Beach, Fla., vowing to deliver a "bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer, and stronger," future for America.

We've got a full breakdown for you below, along with the other important results.

Donald Trump Wins Presidency

President-elect Donald Trump won the White House for a second time last night, taking Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia and leading in the other swing states.

Nationally, Trump also appeared to win the popular vote. At 2 a.m., he had 66.5 million votes to Vice President Kamala Harris' 61.6 million. In his first election, Trump won the Electoral College but lost the popular vote.

Harris campaign officials said she would make no statement Tuesday night as her supporters began leaving her watch party at Howard University. Trump spoke to his supporters around 2:30 a.m. this morning.

"Look what happened?" he said. "Isn't this crazy? This is a magnificent victory for the American people."

GOP Wins Senate

The GOP won control of the Senate Tuesday, flipping two seats on their way to an early 51 to 46 majority with several races yet to be called.

Republicans scored upsets as Jim Justice claimed Democrat Joe Manchin's West Virginia seat while Trump-backed businessman Bernie Moreno defeated longtime Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown in Ohio.

Democrats entered Election Day with a two-seat majority but faced a tough map, defending seats in two Trump-won states and in six tight races, while having only two Republican-held seats considered possible pickups.

Senate Republicans fended off challenges in Nebraska and Texas, where independent Dan Osborn threatened Sen. Deb Fischer and Rep. Colin Allred, a former NFL linebacker, trailed Sen. Ted Cruz by just a few points late in the race.

The GOP held a 183-154 advantage in the House at 1 a.m. ET, but the majority of races remained uncertain, with several districts still uncalled.

Florida Only State to Reject Abortion Amendment

Florida voters rejected a measure to add abortion rights to the state constitution, the only one of 10 states with abortion measures on the ballot Tuesday to do so.

The Florida measure needed approval from 60% of the voters and fell short, keeping in place the state's six-week ban on abortion.

The other nine states with abortion-related measures on their 2024 general election ballots were Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Nevada, and South Dakota.

Pro-abortion groups raised over $160 million—six times more than opponents—to promote ballot measures in those states, with most funds directed to ad spending in Florida's high-stakes campaign.
