Twenty homes in the Lake Placid area with Trump signs or flags were skipped from the end of October to November. The hurricane survivors did not receive door-to-door aid from disaster crew members at the direction of their supervisor, Marn'i Washington. According to FEMA, the matter was referred to the Office of Special Counsel, and officials have been working to ensure similar acts of discrimination do not happen again. “This is a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation,” said FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell. | Trump Names Floridian Susie Wiles Chief of Staff On Thursday, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Susie Wiles, one of his two campaign managers, will be his White House chief of staff.
