Republican Gabe Evans won Colorado's 8th Congressional District after Democratic incumbent Yadira Caraveo conceded Sunday, helping the GOP move towards control of Congress.

The close race, with a narrow 2,596-vote margin, flips the district to Republican control in otherwise blue Colorado. The district spans most of Adams County and parts of Weld and Larimer counties.

The result helped push the GOP closer to majority control of the House.  Republicans were reported by one media outlet late Monday to have won the 218 seats they needed for a majority.

Evans expressed gratitude for the win and thanked Caraveo for her service, pledging to fight for a "better direction" for Coloradans.

Denver International Airport announced that the A-bridge and Ansbacher Hall will close from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, starting Monday, Nov. 11.

This closure, part of an ongoing construction project through late 2025, will convert the Bridge Security Checkpoint area into a secure zone accessible only to screened passengers.

During these hours, travelers heading to Concourse A will need to use the train, as TSA will cease regular staffing at the Bridge Security checkpoint by Dec. 9.

This project, aimed at expanding capacity, will ultimately support DIA's goal of serving 100 million annual passengers by 2027. In the long term, DIA also plans to add up to 100 additional gates to accommodate growing travel demand.

A 76-year-old Douglas County woman helped authorities capture two men who scammed her out of over $200,000. The suspects were arrested after a sting operation in May dubbed "Operation I Love Gold."

The elaborate scheme began with a fraudulent iPad message, instructing the woman to buy gold bars for "security." When the scammers requested more, she contacted law enforcement, leading to the men's arrest.

Both suspects pleaded guilty to attempted theft and were sentenced to six years in prison. They're suspected of similar scams and may face deportation back to India after serving their sentences.

Did your mom ever tell you fruit is healthy? Mine too.

But I guarantee if your mother knew the damage a popular fruit does to your body, joints, and heart… she'd tell you NEVER eat this fruit again. You see, even though this fruit is marketed as being "healthy"… It actually contains a toxic nutrient your body sees as an "enemy."

So, every time you bite into this fruit…

Your immune system flags this "invader"… and unleashes its army of toxin killers. And since this nutrient enters your bloodstream once it's digested…

Your immune system starts attacking even HEALTHY tissue and organs… causing burning in your joints, muscles, and even your heart.

And even if you HATE fruit and veggies… I can 99.9% guarantee you've eaten this fruit in the past week — probably without even knowing it.

Luckily, Dr. Brian Paris recorded a video revealing the deadly truth about this fruit (and four other common foods).
