It happened! It's cold here. Frost is on the pumpkin. My cousin Celine, also a member of the MA team!, told me she had a soup cook-off last weekend to celebrate the season. Everyone brought a different soup, and little cups delivered many a taste of those soups for all of the eaters. There were winners, there were...well, not losers, just non-winners, right?! She said that her soup won last year, and it happened to be a recipe from . . . the house of Maureen.
Well if that didn't make my day, almost as much as getting to hang out testing and developing recipes with Celini! It is a delicious soup, as are all of the fall favorites that are going to help us celebrate Halloween this week. And also chase away any thought of being bothered by the chill that's settling in.

This is moghrabia (moh-guh-duh-bee-yuh!), with tender pieces of chicken, onion, broth, and Lebanese couscous, which is a larger pearl and very, very delicious.
