Using a Gordon Rhodes Gourmet Sauce Pack, this recipe is just that, with a little spice as well. Ingredients (for 2); - Gordon Rhodes Sausage Cassoulet Gourmet Sauce Pack mixed with 300ml water
- 4 sausages of your choice
- 400g chopped tomatoes
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 chillies sliced
- 200g black-eyed beans (saved the rest for the Moroccan-style tagine sauce mix...)
- 100g curly Kale
- 80g orzo
Method (Approx. 15 mins prep and 4 hours in slow cooker); - Brown off the sausages in a pan first, then chuck in the slow cooker with all the other ingredients (apart from the orzo & kale) on high for 4 hours, after giving a good mix.
- Add in the orzo for the last 20 mins - give it a good mix and add extra water if the sauce is too thick/dry
- Add the Kale in for the last 10 mins
- BON APPETITπ
