Hello everyone - Wherever you were, whatever you did, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day! And now here we are in that funny patch between Christmas in New Years' Eve. I never quite know what to publish during this period! Are you in a food coma? Are you ready to start thinking about New Years' Eve yet? Are you committed to a state of slothiness for the next 5 days?
So here's what I came up with - a recipe to use leftover Christmas Ham to make party food for New Years' Eve!! These sliders are an American party food favourite - with good reason. I promise you, they are a worthy way to use your precious leftover ham. ~ Nagi & Dozer πΆ
For full disclosure - I did not just happen to have a giant Christmas ham in my fridge when I photographed and filmed this. So the photos show boring old deli ham. Imagine this made with Christmas ham!! ππ»
Life of Dozer
Woke to sad news today, the passing of Bill Granger on Christmas Day, too young, too early. Bill was a beloved Australian restauranteur, our most successful international export actually, and is credited for showing the world the greatness of Australian food and changing the breakfast game. He had such a sunny disposition and I used to religiously watch his cooking shows. His cookbook Bills Food is one of the first I bought for myself. It's well thumbed, filthy and I still love it. RIP Bill (1969 - 2023).
