My sole motivation when I first ventured into meal prep was weight loss. Honestly, I wasn't thinking about much else.
I simply recognized that if I wanted to eat healthier, I needed to prepare my meals in advance because there was no way I could whip up homemade dinners after a long day at work.
But here's the thing: meal prep not only made it easier for me to focus on healthier eating and exercise but also helped me achieve my goal of shedding 40 pounds. And that felt absolutely amazing!
Yet, the story doesn't end there. This also happened…
➡️ I suddenly had more time on my hands.
Gone were the endless hours spent cooking, scrubbing pots and pans, and attempting to maintain some semblance of order in my kitchen. Instead, I had healthy, home-cooked meals ready in just 20 minutes, with minimal cleanup.
➡️ I had more energy.
No more wandering around in a fog, perpetually tired and miserable. I had energy, genuinely enjoyed life, and looked forward to every day.
➡️ I developed a confidence I didn't even know existed.
I felt attractive, and I didn't shy away from pictures of myself anymore. In fact, I looked forward to running into people at the grocery store and Target!
So, what did I do with all this newfound time, energy, and confidence? Here's a glimpse:
π I had more time to relax and spend quality moments with my kids after work, being fully present with them.
π The immense confidence gained from achieving a significant weight loss goal fueled me to start a blog and share my story, ultimately helping others along the way.
π I was able to quit my soul-sucking job because that little blog I started over a decade ago is now my full-time business, enabling me to provide for my family and connect with incredible women worldwide. I can barely put into words how amazing this is!
Over a decade later, I'm proof that unexpected time, energy, and confidence can completely transform your life.
π It all began with that first step: meal prepping the food I ate. Isn't that incredible?
