This is How 3 Hours ⏰ Changed the Direction of My Week ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hey reader!

I've shared some of my top meal prep tips and tasty recipes in the past few weeks. Now, considering you're still here, I'm guessing you're in one of these boats:

✅ You're fired up and ready to dive into meal prep headfirst

✅ You're feeling inspired but haven't taken that leap yet.

✅ Or perhaps you're intrigued but wondering if you can squeeze meal prep into your already hectic schedule.

⏰ No matter which category you fall into, I want to talk about a common challenge – the time factor.

It's a hurdle that holds many amazing women back from embracing meal prep because they believe they simply don't have the time.

I used to think the same way for years. But then, when I finally decided to prioritize some time to prep some meals ahead of the week, I had a real eye-opener – I was creating more time for myself during the week.

๐Ÿ™Œ Taking just 3 hours on a Sunday to prep food for the week completely transformed the course of my week.

I say 3 hours because that's about the average amount of time I dedicate to meal prep each week. Some weeks it might be a little less, and others a bit more, but it's a pretty good average.

The thing is, I came to realize that the very thing I believed I didn't have time for was the very thing that gave me back my precious time and improved my quality of life throughout the week.

Yes, it might sound a bit dramatic, but it's true! ๐Ÿ˜„

Let me paint a picture of what my weeks look like when I make meal prep a priority:

๐Ÿ“Instead of stumbling around my kitchen searching for ingredients or facing the dreaded realization that I'm out of essentials, I start my day with a smoothie. Why? Because I've got my smoothie kits all set to go! This means I kick off my day with a generous serving of fruits and veggies, feeling focused and energized.

๐Ÿฅ— Lunchtime rolls around, and instead of resorting to scraps, making a hasty PB & J sandwich, or dipping a spoon into a peanut butter jar, I grab a mason jar salad, packed with an abundance of veggies and lean proteins. All I have to do is swing by the fridge, fetch a jar, pour it into a bowl, and dig in! No mess, no lunchtime fuss. I get to enjoy my meal, unwind for a bit, and then it's right back to work! ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿฝ️

๐Ÿฝ️ Now, having breakfast and lunch squared away is undeniably fantastic, but the true sigh of relief comes in the evening. Instead of the nightly dinner dilemma, the rush to put together a meal, the temptation to opt for boxed mac 'n' cheese, or even the all-too-common fallback on takeout, I simply reach for a healthy, homemade dinner.

It takes less than 30 minutes to prepare a delicious meal in the microwave or oven. And on those slow cooker days, I just pull out the pre-assembled insert from the fridge, start it up, and dinner simmers away while I work. It's as simple as that – no cooking, no mountain of dishes to wash, and we all have a satisfying dinner when we're ready. It's nothing short of amazing! ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฅ˜๐Ÿ•’๐Ÿฝ️✨

๐Ÿงฎ Let's break down the numbers and see how spending just 3 hours on a Sunday can save you significant time during the week. The results are pretty eye-opening!

➡️ When calculating the time I save by prioritizing meal prep, I save at least 10 hours every week.

➡️ Over the course of a month, that's an additional 40 hours.

➡️And looking at it over a year, it's a whopping 480 hours. That's like adding 20 extra days to your year!

And here's the kicker – this doesn't even consider the additional days you're essentially adding to your life by reducing stress and anxiety during the week, all because you're not constantly worrying about what to eat. True story!

๐Ÿ˜„ It's kind of amusing when you think about it. We often search for grand plans and complicated systems to change our lives, but in reality, it can be as simple as dedicating 3 hours on a Sunday to prepare some food for the week.

Crazy, right? But it's the absolute truth.

So, if you've been on the fence about meal prep due to time constraints, I strongly encourage you to give it a shot.

You don't need to go all out – start small. Choose a meal that, when prepared ahead of time, will make the biggest impact on your week and give it a go. I promise you'll love having that meal ready and waiting for you.

Alrighty, I'll chat with you soon!
