Hi ,
Happy fall! Here in Chicago, it's really starting to feel like a new season.
- The air is getting crisp,
- the leaves are changing colors,
- and the sun is setting before 7 o'clock.
Instead of filling my bag with peaches at the farmers market, I'm stocking up on root veggies and delicata squash.
And tomorrow, we're going apple picking!
4 Apple Recipes You HAVE to Try This Fall
Apple picking is always at the top of my fall bucket list.
My favorite thing about it? All the delicious apple-y things you get to make when you come home!
I'm sharing four of my best apple recipes below. Whether you go apple picking or not this fall, I hope you try one! They're all perfect for celebrating this peak-season fruit.
apple crumble
An oat-y, nutty topping covers juicy cinnamon apples. It's so easy and SO delicious (especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream)!

apple cake
The perfect apple cake! From the delightful cookbook Snacking Cakes by Yossy Arefi, it's moist, warmly spiced, and chock-full of tender apple chunks. I love it just as much for breakfast as I do for dessert.

homemade applesauce
Swirl this thick, sweet-tart sauce into yogurt with a sprinkle of granola, or spoon it over oatmeal, overnight oats, or ice cream. I also love it in my easy applesauce cake!

cinnamon apple scones
Moist, tender, and full of apple flavor, these simple scones are such a yummy fall treat. We love them for breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea.
