TODAY:

Providing Local Communities with the Data They Need

Wednesday, June 22, 2022

The U.S. Census Bureau and the Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership in collaboration with the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) and the Labor Market Information (LMI) Institute, welcomes Patrick Hewitt as he presents, "Providing Local Communities with the Data They Need."

Hewitt presents how a variety of sources, including U.S. Census Bureau Population Estimates and the 5-Year American Community Survey, Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics, the Northern Ohio Data and Information Service, and the County Fiscal Office were used to publish the 2021 Data Book for Cuyahoga County. The book provides insight into the Cuyahoga County communities and was intended to be used by local governments, community organizations, and others interested in learning more about the community. It can also be used as a resource in preparing grant applications, understanding community changes, and identifying issues to address.
