| The Intellectual Property Office business engagement team are continuing the series of free bitesize intellectual property (IP) Basics webinars in 2022. It was wonderful to see so many people keen to protect their business' IP at our previous webinars. This month, the webinars will run on Thursday, 24 February. We previously ran webinars on each of the four intellectual property rights, shared an overview of IP Basics and gave an introduction to protecting your IP abroad. This month, the webinar topics include: Designs, find out how to protect the way your product looks with a registered design and the steps involved when applying. Copyright, copyright is an automatic right, find out how you can defend your copyrighted work and how long the copyright lasts depending on the type of work.  What counts as intellectual property and does your business have any? Nearly all businesses will own some form of intellectual property, and its important to know how you can protect it to ensure you aren't copied by anyone else.
