Hello my friend!
Are you still stuffed from yesterday? I know I am...but will it stop me for having leftovers for breakfast? Not on your life.
I'm dropping off a recipe real quick, because there's no doubt in my mind you're ready to celebrate the season of green and red!
Elves will be on shelves, trees are going to be sparkling in the windows, and I'm sure your neighbors are spending the day clanging around ladders putting up those obnoxious lights that are just as blinding as the sun (it's me by the way, I'm that neighbor).
So why not get into the spirit with a real low key holiday "cookie" that's fun for you and the kids to decorate--and will leave your kitchen reasonably clean afterwards :
Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats!
All you need to do is make a quick batch of my buttery, ultra chewy Rice Krispie Treats. Then once they're set, cut them out and glue (melted chocolate) on all the fun accessories to make the CUTEST little red nosed reindeer! Everyone will be OBSESSED and they taste as good a they look!
I'll leave the recipe below and let you get back to your pie and peppermint mocha. Happy "baking" my friend!
