Homemade bread for Thanksgiving is as much of a treat as all of the other delights on the table.
Amid the frenzy of this week that is so much about shop early (as in, here!), some of us will take a moment to put our hands in the dough and find a little calm for Thanksgiving (it's possible!). Whenever you try the soft, airy heaven that is Garlic Butter Glazed Lebanese Talami bread, you're going to find some serious happy. This bread is simply divine. Other breads I love for Thanksgiving are my Za'atar Swirl Bread, Sweet Potato Biscuits, or another version of Talami bread with olives and capers, salty Danny-style. You can see step-by-step how the garlic talami is done on my Instagram video (love for you to follow me here!), and on YouTube. Try your hand at fluffy, gorgeous pita, which at our house goes perfectly with the Lebanese side of the buffet. Go an extra all-out and make your own homemade cultured butter. Flavor is over the t-o-p. | |
