| FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity October 28, 2021 Now Available in Spanish: "Let's Take Charge!" Lupus and Clinical Trial Diversity Campaign The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently launched a public education campaign that aims to increase racial and ethnic minority participation in lupus clinical trials. The "Let's Take Charge!" campaign, developed by the HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) and the Food and Drug Administration's Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE), intends to increase diversity in clinical trial participation which helps to ensure that future medical products are safe and effective for everyone living with lupus. The campaign now has a Spanish-language version of its microsite with resources on lupus and clinical trial diversity in Spanish. The microsite features various public service announcement videos, social media graphics, fact sheets, and other materials for Spanish-speaking patients and caregivers. These resources can be accessed by visiting www.minorityhealth.hhs.gov/TomemosElControl.
