FSIS Notice 34-21: FSIS Actions at Establishments That Do Not Follow Mask Requirements This notice announces that to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection for FSIS employees, as of Wednesday, August 25, 2021, FSIS will require official meat and poultry establishments, egg products plants, and all other facilities where FSIS provides inspection services, such as voluntary inspection service, to follow current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on mask use.
