FDA's Second TechTalk Podcast Focuses on Whole Genome Sequencing August 11, 2021 Today, FDA posts the second in a new quarterly podcast series called TechTalk that focuses on the development and use of new technologies to strengthen the ability of FDA, regulated industry, and others to accelerate prevention, speed outbreak response, and more swiftly adapt to crises that could affect the food supply. The podcast, "Whole Genome Sequencing in the New Era of Smarter Food Safety," features food safety and public health experts in the Association of Public Health Laboratories, Western Growers, and the New York State Department of Health, which is responsible for public health in the nation's fourth most populous state.
