A14 | Suffolk | Road Closure | Expect Delays The A14 is closed in both directions between Junction 56 and Junction 57 (Orwell Bridge) for a police led incident Suffolk police are in attendance.  Delays are likely on approach to the closures, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.  Diversion route is via the A1156, A1189 and A1214 through Ipswich Westbound, follow the solid circle diversion symbol Eastbound, follow the solid triangle diversion symbol If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.   Further information is available from Highways England by visiting our  www.trafficengland.com website and travel apps, or via our regional twitter feed.
