Corned beef and cabbage is a classic Irish-American dish made with corned beef brisket, cabbage, and hearty root vegetables. Traditionally everything is simmered together in one pot on the stovetop, but I roast the meat and vegetables separately in the oven for deeper flavor. I also drizzle the vegetables with a little horseradish butter before roasting—it's a total game changer. Serve it all with my cheddar soda bread for the perfect St. Patrick's Day dinner.

Irish soda bread is a quick and easy table bread made with baking soda instead of yeast.
