Happy New Year's Eve! It's the perfect night to wrap up the holiday season with one more celebration. Whether you're planning to stay up into the new year or to have a more restful evening, it's a good time to get together with friends and family, reminisce on the past year, and look forward to the future.
I like keeping my NYE simple with some basic and popular party dishes like sausage balls, shrimp cocktail, a cheese board, and cherry snowball cookies. I find shareable finger foods like these are always popular and go well with champagne or your chosen signature cocktail for the evening. If you're looking for an easy holiday recipe to serve guests or bring to a potluck, I've shared some of my other popular recipes below. Just keep in mind that if you make them, these will go fast!
Grape Salad
This is a great party food and has some symbolism, as eating 12 grapes for the 12 months of the year is a tradition!
If you want a tasty drink that will give your NYE a sophisticated flair, you can't go wrong with an espresso martini. Plus, the espresso might help everyone stay awake until the ball drops.
