Few grocery stores have garnered as much devotion as Trader Joe's. Since opening its first store in Pasadena in 1967, the grocer has expanded to hundreds of locations — with no signs of slowing down. Beloved for its unique store-brand products (like Pancake Bread!) and famously friendly staff, the store's charm is a big part of the experience.
As a result, the aisles are often packed. We stopped by earlier this week on a Monday — afternoon, no less! — and the checkout line was wrapped around the interior. Trader Joe's popularity knows no bounds, as the retailer constantly causes buzz, whether it's dropping a new batch of impossible-to-find mini tote bags or the latest episode of its popular podcast.
Trader Joe's has remained an incredibly popular grocery store (and experience) for decades, and we totally get why. The items are delicious, the deals are good, and vibes are superb. That's not to say the beloved store is perfect — no retailer is! But, we're choosing to focus on the things we love most: great finds and a shopping trip that feels more like a journey than a chore.
See you next week,
