What politicians and ex-boyfriends have in common

Here’s the ugly truth about politics today:

Most politicians lie to you, Friend.

I’m sure you’ve seen this in your own life. They tell you what you want to hear. They dodge hard questions. They poll test answers before speaking up. It probably drives you crazy. It bugs me too because that’s just not how I operate.

I’d rather tell the truth and LOSE than lie and WIN. So here’s what I know to be true:

1.	God is real.

2.	There are two genders.

3.	Fossil fuels are a requirement for human flourishing.

4.	Reverse racism is racism.

5.	An open border is not a border.

6.	Parents determine the education of their children.

7.	The nuclear family isn’t a bad word, it is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.

8.	Capitalism is the best system known to man to lift us up from poverty.

9.	There are three branches of government, not four.

10.

And the U.S. Constitution is the greatest guarantor of freedom in human history.

Some people reject what I know to be true. And that’s okay.

I’m not running to win the approval of the media or the political class. I’m running to lead Ohio to be the greatest state in the country AND set an example for the other 49 states – leading with truth, grit, and courage in our convictions.
