🚫 Spoiler alert: The problem isn’t your hormones

I welcomed AMAZING new women into NOURISHED+STRONG this week, but to be honest, my heart is heavy.

I worry for the woman who thinks products like this actually work:

 

  • Fizzy juice that dissolves 2.3 lbs overnight
  • Add cinnamon to coffee revs your metabolism
  • Serums that unlock a gate to your fat cells
  • Vitamins that act like liposuction
  • Drops that restart your thyroid
  • Superfoods that melt away 70+ pounds


I worry that she'll be disappointed (again) by her "quick fix" that sounds too good to be true.

And I worry that she'll stay stuck in a vicious cycle, thinking that nothing works for her so it must be her hormones…

The truth? She's afraid to do the things she knows will work.

Taking care of yourself, improving your nutrition, losing weight, getting stronger - it all takes time and energy. There is no "easy" button and no one can do it for you.

But you can pick your hard.

Stay where you are, feel tired, lack energy, be uncomfortable in your body, wear clothes that hide your insecurities, and be stuck in the cycle of nothing ever changing.

Or take one small step towards a solution you know will work, even if it's a little scary?

One year ago I took that small step - scared out of my mind. But I figured, what did I have to lose?

Turns out, I had 11 lbs and 12 inches to lose!

I took a picture the other day and you can see the difference - one year later I'm eating 650 calories MORE every day, I've lost another 1.2 inches AND CLEARLY I've built muscle along the way!
